About me

I completed a Bachelor of Arts in English and Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Calgary in 1998, and have over 10 years of experience in both industry and public practice. In my career in public practice, I have worked with a large regional firm, a big four multinational firm, and a small start-up practice. Most recently, I was a senior manager in assurance services at a large national firm. In 2009, I began my own firm, operating independently as a sole practitioner.

I provide a variety of services to small and medium-sized enterprises and not-for-profit organizations, including:

I enjoy gaining an in-depth understanding of my clients' businesses - beyond the accounting function - and I believe this understanding leads to better client service. I follow a simple business model: I aim to deliver services on time, on budget and at a high standard of quality.

As a small practitioner, I offer personalized service. I have a simple, efficient structure in which I am involved in all aspects of my clients' files. This approach, combined with low overhead costs gives me the ability to offer my experience and knowledge as a chartered accountant at rates that are competitive.
